About us
To address the poor capability and networking, and constrained roles of local youth, Generations was founded in 2012 and has been striving for enhancing youth capacity, promoting local youth roles through increased participation in social, political and development affairs in the local and countrywide. The organization’s activities are, but not limited to, conducting trainings for the youth in Rakhine’s townships, facilitating the emergence of organization of like-minded youths, and working in coordination with organizations and government departments of different states and regions for local development. Beside those primary activities of the organization, the organization responds to disaster and emergency needs at its capacity in ways of fundraising and distributing food, non-food items and medicine.
Moreover, with the concept that action in solidarity and unity is more efficient, the Generations facilitated the formation of a network of the youth organizations from different townships in Rakhine. As a result, in 2015, All Arakan Youth Organizations Network _ AAYON has been established and is now independently functioning with the lead of a steering committee composed of representatives from different organizations with the participation of 25 organizations from 15 different Rakhine’s townships including Generation.

Our projects aim to enhance sustainable livelihoods and promote community resilience through innovative practices and training programs tailored for local needs and environmental conditions.
Emergency Relief
We provide timely emergency relief to communities affected by disasters, ensuring their immediate needs are met while also supporting long-term recovery and resilience building efforts.
